We have gone from one loss a week to almost one every year or so. Even though the loss rates have been reduced there is no reason to be lax and not follow the laws and rules in place. We do not condone lawless activity. we support events that follow safety rules and regulations.
You must realize that the information presented here is related to era that it transpired in. Technology and rules & regulations have evolved over the years. Our understanding of the technologies and science to go fast has increased ten fold. We still need to have a greater understanding of how we and systems such as race cars inter act in this world.
The current state is to be green and save resources, but what we are trying to do is educate. We are not responsible if you try to win the Darwin award, all we can do is remind you we are here to educate and promote racing. Endangering the general public is not a good method to advance the cause of racing.
For example if you reduce the drag of a vehicle which right now is very popular since it will save gas. When you make one change you change other dynamic characteristics of the vehicle..
So do the work that is needed to complete the objective do not assume anything. If you do not have the ability to perform the task hire a consultant. People do not win races consistently with out learning and doing all the work and accepting the responsibility of their actions. So do not blame us if you do not process this information properly and have a miss cue... .
