The comment: Hi, I worked as Bobby Brown’s mechanic in 1976 on his Atlantic car. On my web site you can find some related stories of my time with him. I have just completed 40 years in motor sport and have a very successful company in the UK producing parts for F1 and Aerospace. I would very much like any photos of the Chevron Atlantic car to put on my site as I have no photos of that time. Please could you also pass on my regards to Bobby,www.jonathangreaves.com

The comment: Finally - Hello Mr. Brown, I have traced your racing history and very impressing indeed. What a career and different venues. I am fortunate to have acquired your #79 Can-Am MARCH SC-1 (1977). This was the car you sold to Greg Sorentino - went to Charie Monk - then a brief trade to John Kallagian and then I bought it. I am in the process of rebuilding it and have some interest in learning any information and pictures you may still have of the car. Hope to hear back. J. Byron Walker 1-248-496-2212

The comment: All of you need to listen to "The Car Was The One" by Mark Knopfler on his CD "Get Lucky"

The comment: We strongly request you to leave your comments if it is related to sports car road racing. Even better if it is a Bobby story, we all know there are quite a few of those. The site is growing slowly. We have a hot in car camera lap of Watkins Glen, you know how long the track is well the file size is as large as the length of the track. Keep Racing..

The comment: Over the years I have taught thousands of people how to drive but when it came to Chevrons, Bobby taught me how to drive. I have been fortunate that many car owners have allowed me the privilege to drive their beautiful cars and I am thankful to Bobby for his help in doing so......he always had time for me. If Bobby had a practice session that I was not driving in, I would make it a point to observe him from different corners at Watkins Glen and Mid Ohio. I learned a great deal from watching him and from his kind advice. I miss seeing Bobby and others as I don't get to the track as often as I used to.....maybe this year......?

The comment: Wow what a great idea to help promote Sports Car Road Racing, presenting material from the archives of one of the more successful road racers in the northeast. Really hope there is participation from other racers to help develop this site.
